Callie Vitro receives UNO grant for research

Graduate student Callie Vitro received funding to support her project: Security and crime surrounding the 2026 World Cup.
This research project intends to examine security and crime surrounding the 2026 World Cup, which will be essential to understanding preparation and lessons learned in light of hosting additional upcoming international sporting events.
Funding for this project comes from the UNO Office of Research and Creative Activity Graduate Research and Creative Activity (GRACA) grant. Callie will be supported in this project by faculty mentor Dr. Tin Nguyen in the Department of Psychology.
